The Racoon - "He eats too many biscuits"
~Andrew

"This section just seemed like history all over again. There were lots of Indians here, John Smith came over and pretended to be all great. The "story" of Pocahontas is a lie, it was all different. Indians were here long before the diseased white man. It really sounds like History with Dr. Gossweiler all over again.

I do find it sad that we rely on Captain John Smith's writings as the main source of information about Virginia and the Indians. Although, it is good that we atleast have that. Otherwise, we'd have nothing. I do agree with historians who think Smith was a bragger, that some of what he said may have been slightly stretched. Can you blame him though, I mean, He was one of the only ones to write about Virginia, of course stuff was stretched a bit."
