The Late 19th Century

Very hard to read
Boats
Southern, Mississippi, river stories
Realism
Dialect
Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn

Laid back, creative, adventurous, simple.

I liked Twain the best. Even though his stories were hard to read at times, the stories were just interesting. Used slang, which was easier to understand. I couldn't really relate to being on a boat, since I get motion-sickness, but, it could be cool. His stories were just, very normal. I like Huck Finn the best. Huck is just a normal kid, and as an orphan faces many problems. I think that's cool. But, I just like stories about kids. And adventures. I like those too.

The only author I really liked was Mark Twain. I was able to read and understand it. Huck Finn was a pretty cool story. I remember reading it in like 8th grade or something and liking it. :) This story about an adventurous young orphan trying to escape his life and make it on his own. Floating down the Mississippi river helping free Jim. Best friends with Tom Sawyer. Finding lots of money. Huck getting adopted by the town since he's an orphan. It's a pretty cool story.
