The Late 19th Century

Just plain weird. It was very hard to follow, even in the class discussions, everyone had a different interpretation of what was happening. Who was responsible for Daisy's death was the main thing we debated, I think. And Daisy's age. That was very hard to tell. I figured she was about 14 or 15, which, the author never says. The whole story was kinda creepy. This younger girl and all these older guys. I find it hard to believe this was representative of the times. That mothers just let their young daughters roam the streets with older guys.
I do think Daisy dates older guys to fill in for her father. She just needed someone older than her to love her and be there for her as a father should.
